Written from the experiences of the Author on many journeys through the country.  Duncan particularly enjoys exploring the back roads, small villages and towns that are off the main tourist routes.

However, a number of world-renowned and World Heritage sites like the Alhambra in Granada feature in the book.

He travels mainly on a large Italian motorcycle  (Moto Guzzi)  but the experiences, places and way of travelling are applicable to most forms of transport.

The book has many hand-drawn maps to give you ideas for places to fit into your own journey – viaje.

There are sketches and photographs to excite your interest and give you a flavour of the rich experiences that can be found in this wonderful country.

For your safety there is a section dealing with some of the legal requirements for driving/riding in Spain and diagrams of road junctions that may be unfamiliar and potentially dangerous.

“Too often I would hear men boast of the miles covered that day, rarely of what they had seen.”
Louis L’Amour
